Andrew Cavalotto, Executive Chef
| Born in Connecticut and graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in New York, Andrew decided to head to Hawaii to launch his professional career. While in Hawaii, he was recognized for his appearance on NBC's Today Show and Hawaii's Kitchen Cooking Show. He also enjoys entertaining culinary competitions; he's won numerous awards and top honors in National and International Competitions.
Andrew completed his internship at The Worthington Hotel in Fort Worth Texas, and also has held chef positions at the Maui Marriot, Philadelphia Marriot, Kauai Sheraton, and the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua, Marriot Harbor Beach. Finally settling down in South Florida at the Westin Diplomat, and currently at the Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Marina. Chef Cavalotto has a passion for cooking and enjoys being creative and innovative with his dishes. He also likes to teach others, sharing with them his passion for food, mentoring the people he works with. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, boating, and spending time in and around the ocean. While he enjoys trying a variety of ethnic foods, he most enjoys creating, sharing, and eating fresh fish delights. |
